CODIX IS A SPONSOR OF THE LEASING AND FACTORING FORUM IN LISBON

CODIX is one of the sponsors of the upcoming ALF Forum 2022 which will take place on 19 May in Centro cultural de Belém, Lisbon, Portugal. This forum gathers annually the companies specialized in the leasing, factoring and renting services which are members of the ALF association together with industry leaders and experts in order to network and address topics that matter in these sectors.

According to ALF’s research in 2021 the leasing, factoring and renting products were responsible for:

• Leasing investments: € 2.5 billion (€ 1.7 billion in vehicles and equipment; € 800 million in real estate);
• Factoring turnover of € 34.5 billion;
• Renting: purchase of 24,500 new light vehicles (€ 572 million);
• Leasing and Renting cover the purchase of 32.5% of all new vehicles in Portugal.

This year’s event will be held under the overall theme: “Specialized Financing – The Engine of Transition in the Portuguese Economy”. During the conference, different issues of key importance for the various sectors of the Portuguese economy will be discussed, incl. the need for a digital transition.

The international forum is expected to be attended by about 120 representatives of the leasing, factoring and rental industries in Portugal.
